FELLSIDE SERIES

This new departure giclee reproduction series has been inspired by the animals which are the lifeblood of the fellside farming environment around John's studio.

The originals are large scale acrylic paintings around 1 metre square. They are done in a robust style with lively palette knife work on a softer background of brushwork, which attempt to capture, in a light fashion, the way these animals look and behave on their home territory.

As a standard they are all printed on heavy textured paper, which highlights the texture of the originals, in sizes 450mm square and 300mm square, and are available from

They can equally be printed on canvas at these sizes which enhances even further the feeling of the impression of the paint texture.
